- You change game modes by pressing the D pad left and right (at least on the 360 version) at the title screen. Most of the descriptions you will find of this game describe it in arcade mode, which is very different from Slash mode that it defaults to initially. This is why most of the stuff people talk about doesn't work.
- You can watch the tutorial videos by pressing B on the title screen, no there isn't a prompt for this and no, you shouldn't do it. Go watch it on the developer (Rising Star)'s youtube channel where it's broken up into seven parts instead.
