- Much like in the original, James will look at interactable items as you walk past them.
- The dodge move has significant i-frames, so you can go right through attacks with good timing. It's fairly easy to abuse in group fights as well.
- Enemies are weak to different weapons. The Mannequinsare weak to handgun rounds andNursesare knocked down by the shotgun.
- Attacking an enemy from behind can knock them down in one hit at times.
- You can shoot enemies in the knees to stagger them for a followup. I haven't been able to do it myself since my aim is terrible on console, but the internet says so.
- RGB keyboards and PS5 controllers glow to indicate the health state that you are in. The red frame around the screen appears when you are at around 2/3rds health.
- Most of the things that worked in the first game still work in the new one, including some boss tactics.
- The game appears to have an adaptive loot system, so you shouldn't save ammo.
