- As long as you're playing on normal, check-points are very liberal, so don't worry about dying. You'll usually get revived right before the fight you died in.
- Dodging is your friend. You can dodge THROUGH most attacks. You don't need to dodge away from them, just dodge through the enemy as they are attacking, and then you can cut them up from behind.
- Gun fire from small enemies can be blocked with the block button (Which is the same as the dodge button, but you have to be standing still to block). You can also dodge through it, but since there is sometimes a steady stream of bullets, dodging through them requires precise timing.
- On the final boss' first iteration, get him to run into the fire to be able to pounce him and do proper damage.
