  • Character creation: the brass ball in the middle of the panel can be dragged around to put more or less importance on rolling specific stats (check the ranges on top of the screen).
  • The magic threshold for Speed is 30, then every 15 points above it - these give you more actions per round.
  • Some combat effects (like death) don't get resolved until the end of the round: if you start casting healing on someone in advance, and the target gets killed, they can still receive that healing until the end of the round without needing to resurrect them!
  • Splitting the party is important for some puzzles and combat tactics: Ctrl+click portraits to split characters from the party. To join the split groups, put them in the same tile, then either Ctrl+click until the numbers match, or press Insert which will auto-merge all groups in this tile.
  • Many spells target the tile directly in front of the caster, which will affect your characters who have stepped further forward. On the other hand, projectiles will pass 1-2 of your characters standing in a tile in the way.
  • Basic Water school spell creates bottles of water. The alchemist in town buys them for 5g each. Ctrl+click is quick selling. The rest depends on how much you value your time.
  • Requirements for dual-wielding: 1. meet the requirements for each weapon individually, and 2. have either enough Strength for both weapons added up, or enough Strength for the bigger requirement and enough Dexterity for the second weapon's Strength requirement.
