  • Kii's shop sells character exclusive stigmas but also Supremacy (which boosts buffs) and Inferiority Complex (which boosts debuffs)
  • Equip protagonist-exclusive stigmas; they typically improve your attacks and dreadnought+ is a game changer.
  • Everyone's roles (Support, Attacker, Tank, Debuffer, etc.) are listed in the status menu.
  • Ryuto and Kiriko (and to a lesser extent, Shota) are game-breakers.
  • Timing is everything, especially when using counter moves.
  • If you can't get a shield up on time, just sprint away. Try multiple directions and see if any avoid being hit.
  • If you mess up a character scenario, you can ask X to give you a mulligan for 5 points. Handy if you don't feel like reloading your file, just don't make it a habit.
  • Unlike the first game, none of the character scenarios need to be finished before a specific point in the story. You can save them all until just before the very end if you want but it might be better just to do them as they come along.
  • The Causality Link tells you where to find all of the people around Redo in a guaranteed location. You may find them wandering around in a completely different spot, too. A lot less of them compared to the first game and it's way easier to get their quests out of the way to boot, but some of them probably won't be finished until endgame depending on how you play.
  • If an enemy attack is marked as Unavoidable (with the ! in a triangle symbol, means your evasion stat means squat), just block it or counter if applicable because it is kind of annoying to use the dash to manually avoid it.
  • For the X-jack, get a few of the passives to charge up Voltage first so you can pop it more often (definitely get the one that hands it over on enemy KO before anything else) and then you can work on the other passives to make you stronger while it's active.
