  • There's a strict hunger clock, and the best early way to mitigate it is a head piece that dangles a carrot in front of your character's face. Collect those for your stash once it unlocks, so you can actually spend some time in the dungeons without starving.
  • When you get killed by a monster, you'll get a phobia for that monster which makes them harder until you overcome it by slaying enough of them. Some boss fights have adds, you should do your best not to get a phobia for an add monster. It can make a boss fight massively frustrating.
  • Later there's an upgrade system where you install chips in a body shaped grid and connect nodes to each other. The game doesn't explain very well that the lines you create to connect the nodes should be as long as possible. The longer the line, the bigger the bonus. Pipe dream the lines around and you get some crazy upgrades.
  • Check out the custom theme song the game generates for your character. It changes depending on your equipment and is a lot of fun.
  • Anyway it's obviously a "grind until you can't lose anymore" kind of game, just keep throwing yourself at the dungeon.
