Silent Hill 4

General

• Don't take the doll. It makes a new haunting appear over your box non-stop that candles cannot really fix. It does absolutely nothing good.

• Hauntings appear when you visit your apartment, so one strategy is to visit it less often.

• Ghosts can't be killed, but they can be pinned with swords. Save your swords for "special" ghosts.

Endings

• During the escort quest part of the game, your escortee can't die, but the more damage they take, the harder it gets to get a good ending.

• Purify your apartment whenever it is haunted, otherwise you might not be able to completely purify it - and this effects your ending.
