• You will need to specialize your skills in this game, you can not be a jack-of-all trades. Pick a few skills and focus on those or you'll start falling behind on skill check thresholds pretty quickly.

• In the first major town one of the first NPCs you'll run into is a guy in a suit standing outside muttering to himself who will give you a quest to find his friend if you talk to him. Prioritize that quest as it will give you a very handy upgrade upon completion.

• If you have additional party members while exploring and your main character dies, you can still revive them. If your party member leaves you while you're dead though, it's an instant game over.
