  • XP is a bit of a slow curve, so try to not glide past too much once you have your glider. All those random wolves you kill add up.
  • Unlock the craftspeople as a priority, so long as they are in area you can survive. Then spend time building what they unlock
  • You can eat 3 types of food at once. Start with meat, fruit and drink (health, HP regen and stamina). The game expects you to use them.
  • Even if you play melee, bring a ranged weapon (wands or bows). Kiting groups is a good way of dealing with them until you get stronger
  • Double Jump is a good early skill both for exploring and for avoiding hits in combat.
  • You need infinity Plant Fibre early game. Always collect any that you run past.
  • Not all pots have content, but it is still worth smashing them. They can contain potions and metal scraps, which are both scarce at first.
  • The game has some different materials that only spawn at night, but night time is harder, especially in the Shroud. Sleep through it to avoid at first.
