  • The Remenants and Nemeton have identical trainers so just pick the faction whose ideology appeals to you.
  • Doing the ripper quest at the Inn will get you the very first real set of armor in the game.
  • Try to focus on one melee weapon type. The final skills in each tree cost a lot of LP.
  • At least in Chapter 1, don't explore too much and just do quests that are near the road and join one of the factions. Almost every big ruin is part of the main plot later on.
  • If you're getting your ass kicked you're probably not supposed to be there yet.
  • You might have to look at a guide to get the good ending, it's not very intuitive.
