  • The online functions of this game are no longer supported- it's functionally singleplayer.
  • "Enclaves" are isolated areas that are the core of game progression. They teach new mechanics and unlock new puzzle types. Puzzles in these areas are static and do not change.
  • Named locations within the main hub worlds are used to teach puzzlesolving techniques or present special challenges. They are also generally static (with one obvious exception near the beginning). Use these - they teach very useful info and rules.
  • "Insights" on solving puzzles unlocked from enclaves and these lesson locations appear in your menu interface- don't forget it!
  • All other puzzles floating around the hubworld are "dynamic". Only a slice of them are accessible at any time, respawning on a cycle to rotate in ones you haven't solved. Due to a bug, solved dynamic puzzles can respawn, unsolved, creating a sort of completionist treadmill. An incredible community mod that fixes this and many other issues is available from the steam forums.
  • There are a kajillion unique handmade puzzles in this game, but they aren't evenly distributed across their different types. The "skill" XP meter will not max out for many puzzle types unless you deliberately use the above bugginess to re-solve and grind them. Don't sweat it, it's cosmetic.
  • There are a couple timed match 3 challenge spots in the game, including one near the beginning. Don't sweat these, either; they're notoriously the worst part of the game, and not necessary to beat unless you're a completionist. Virtually nothing else in the game takes such an approach.
