  • Unlike in the first Life is Strange, you do not have the ability to rewind time if something goes wrong. However, the game is rather forgiving in this case, as there really isn't any wrong decision you can make. Each playthrough will be different, based on the choices you make.
  • Don't worry about beating every talk back session that you come across, as most of the time, you'll get the same effect if you lose. For example, trying to convince Skip to let you into the dorms. If you beat him at it, he'll let you in, alternatively if you lose, he'll get called away and you just go in anyway.
  • There are 30 graffiti points over the course of the 3 main episodes, for a total of 30 achievements. So be sure to carefully look everywhere if you prefer to find them through a blind playthrough. Alternatively, you can find some great guides online that show you where they all are. That way you'll know what to look out for.
  • Just like in the first LiS game, there is a LOT to interact with and look out for. One of the best things about the LiS series is the ability to go off story and take the time to look around to fully appreciate the story.
  • Your relationship with Rachel can change depending on what you say to her throughout the first 2 episodes. If you want to have a more intimate relationship with her, this works on a points based system. If you have enough points at the end of episode 2, an extra choice will appear when the time comes. You'll know it when you see it (directly after the play of the Tempest).
  • A lot of the fun is trying to figure out puzzles in the game (to progress the story). If you're doing a blind playthrough, just take the time to look around and interact with things and people.
  • If you have the bonus episode (Farewell), there are no achievements in the one. It is also set before the events of the first LiS, and you play as a younger Max.
  • All episodes have an ongoing bug where the subtitles get stuck. It isn't so bad for the first 3 main episodes, but it is significantly worse for the bonus episode. It may be better to turn these off in the 4th episode.
  • While this game is a prequel to the first Life is Strange, you can play them in any order. Although, personally, I think you'll appreciate this game and its story much more if you play the the first LiS first, as you get to see the story from Chloe's point of view (after Max left her). And especially Chloe's relationship with Rachel, her Mom, David and other students at school.
  • The game saves are automatic, and will automatically save after each section (where you'll see an animated cassette tape).
  • If you don't get all the graffiti achievements in your first playthrough, do not worry, as there is an additional game mode for collectibles in the main menu.
