• Do not pursue Lu Bu.

• Seriously, don't do it.

• You can kill Lu Bu, just don't try it until you're amazing with your chosen character and have them heavily upgraded.

• Play on harder difficulties. The quality of items you get (And in 4, the weapon EXP you get) is affected by your difficulty setting. Higher = better.
