• X spots can be dug up with the grappling hook.

• The dodge roll is weak in this game; even the light roll is closer to the dodge of Bloodborne than Dark Souls. You're encouraged to block more than dodge.

• Unlike in the Souls games, parrying doesn't stagger enemies, and ripostes don't give you i-frames. Don't riposte until you're sure the enemy has ended their combo, or else you'll likely get smacked in the middle of your attack.

• Crush attacks can be parried.
