- The game does not keep multiple auto-saves, in case you rely on them to go back to a previous point.
- The quality of the item used to unlock an Alchemy Core doesn't seem to matter, it just unlocks the core.
- Whilst each ingredient has a "resonance value", the only thing that matters is resonance area - you get +1 resonance for any core (including itself) in the area, plus some items like Neutralisers give you extra.
- To make better items, a) get/make ingredients with bigger Resonance area b) upgrade the recipe to unlock additional layers ("strata") on their cores, which include more and special nodes.
- Healing items are slotted in the Strategy menu, Battle Items are slotted in Battle Settings. Battle items are used with (Right Button), healing items are used whilst blocking (left trigger).
- Traits are no longer attached to ingredients, they're slotted in afterwards as a little crystal thingy that can be found or dropped from enemies. Slotting is done on the Battle Settings / Strategy menu, where you equip items.
- Because ingredients don't have traits any more, they now come only at specific, pre-set quality levels. Your inventory/container now stacks the same item of the same quality, so you will end up with a stack of 40 identical flowers, until you raise your gathering rank via the Skill Tree.
- Once you unlock a Shrine of Prayer, don't forget to access it again and actually upgrade your Energy Vial.
- You can pet the cat.
