Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games

- A few notable changes from the first game: You can now save and load the game at any point, characters can now shoot while crouching, and mercs recover some health automatically between missions.
- A handful of mercs now have a minimum quota for personal kills they have to meet or they'll quit. Notably this includes Leech and Fidel, one of the better marksmen and explosive experts, respectively.
- All missions also have time limits by default, which can be disabled when starting a campaign. If playing with time limits, consider selecting either "Reg APs Limits = +" or "Inc APs Limits = +" (depending on whether you want normal or increased AP caps) as these allow you to explore and loot the mission area in peace after you've cleared the objective.
- Unlike in Jagged Alliance 1, you can't go back to cleared missions to loot them, so don't pack more than you need. Thankfully Ultra Shield Vests now come with a few pockets.
- Failing a mission continues the campaign, but losing out on the reward money and possibly some follow-up missions makes this pretty painful. Each mission does have unique failure dialogue from Gus though, some of which is pretty funny.
