Soul Blazer

• Hold down the strafe button the whole time. It lets you face the enemy and instantly attack while you back up and swing.

• Get a guide on the location of items.

• Always have an herb and equip it.

• You can hug an obstacle and manually move the magic circle further out and direct it at enemies.

• There are invincible enemies in each area that are harmed by one of three swords you get much later.

• Dying only costs your gems unless you have a certain jar equipped when you die.

• Don't bother grinding.
