  • With a few exceptions, as long as you've got a medbay unlocked somewhere you're pretty much immortal, but dying still wastes your time. Mission difficulty 3 limits you to only reviving on the same floor you died, so make sure you've turned off the cyber conversion chamber on the current level.
  • The mission flow leans more on the side of adventure game. Which is to say, making note of significant locations on your map and writing down clues as they come will save you a lot of trouble.
  • Small pockets of radiation are a minimal threat and usually conceal some loot. Major areas of radiation (mainly the reactor core) will fry you without proper protection. Progress is locked behind braving a medium-dangerous radiation zone -

  • You can scrap junk items (including the endless Kickstarter backer dogtags, which otherwise do nothing) right from your inventory. It's technically less efficient than feeding items directly into a recycler, but you'll drive yourself nuts trying to min/max and it's not really worth worrying about in the long run; you'll get enough coins to buy all the weapon mods.
  • When inventory space starts to run out, a good place to stash extra gear is in the cargo elevator room in Maintenance. It's the closest thing to a central hub.
  • EMP Grenades turn just about every boss into a sitting duck.
  • You can turn off the pre-segmented hotbar and slot your items anywhere you want.
  • Later wire puzzles feature both 1-pip and 2-pip plugs, with the latter providing more power. This can be easy to miss.
