- If you need a particular mutation to progress, the triggering food is usually somewhere nearby.
- Don't stress too much about losing companions or abilities. If you just press on, you'll be able to make up for either before long.
- That said: if you have a mineral processor, that's the guy you do want to protect with your life and possibly savestates, and keep them stuffed with rocks at all times.
