  • The monsters wreathed in a blue outline and the ones that are way bigger than normal have a chance to drop a treasure chest. In addition to the chest including equipment upgrades, it also gives you a big chunk of gold all in one lump sum, which makes them doubly worth going for if you'd like to unlock characters and meta progression at a reasonable pace.
