  • There are a lot more tech points available to find in the world than there are upgrades to spend them on, so do not be like me and try to collect them all before getting too far into the game
  • On the subject of tech points, enemies seem to be roughly as powerful as your overall purchased tech. When I finally decided to splurge and fill out all the tech trees, suddenly every checkpoint or gang hideout was overflowing with machine-gun toting guards with elite drones and spiderbots capable of things yours are not. So depending on how hard you want the game to be, you might want to upgrade only the bare minimum to pull off your preferred hacking/infiltration techniques.
  • There are a few operative types in the game with hilarious and functionally supernatural powers; for the most part these people seem to be given outlandish costumes, so you do have a chance to spot them without methodically examining thousands of people for the good ones (though you can still do that and sometimes get lucky with a killer combination of traits).
  • The photo booth in your base puts all of your operatives together in the shot; this is hardly a vital tip, but when you first use it in the tutorial it just seems like a solo photo thing and thus hardly any more exciting than taking a picture in-game, versus when you have been playing for a few weeks and can get an awesome group photo of your whole squad of elite nerds in various outfits and masks, making the option suddenly way more fun.
