- I don't know exactly when you start getting the skill points, but definitely focus on attacks first. It's pretty hard to die on normal difficulty (especially since you regenerate in between battles). I think I died once in the beginning due to actual combat. After that only few more times during QTEs or running away cutscene style.

- You'll probably figure this out yourself but next time you see an explosive barrel, (or better yet multiples) get right up on that motherfucker and slash it. Move the camera to see your injuries. I must have spent at least as much time watching the incredibly badass healing system than playing the actual game.
