- The game's quite simple and very linear, with no backtracking at all. There are a few side quests, but they're quite basic.
- You can specialize in melee, ranged, or two flavors of magic, all of which are viable. Contrary to Chris Taylor's blurbs promoting the game however, trying to do several things at once will likely make for a weaker character. Granted the default game is pretty easy, so you can do so and still win.
