- Keeping traction with the road is how you gain speed, so don't approach jumps with too much speed, but rater make sure that you continue downhill in such way that your rear wheel touches the downhill slope as early as possible.
- To keep traction on the straight line, you have to speed up more gradually than by applying full throttle. Normally, it's enough to hit the acceleration, then release it for a brief moment and then press it again. Then your front wheel shall stay on the surface.
- You can use the springs in your suspension to give you an additional boost as you bounce off surfaces. As the spring unwinds after it was compressed by a drop, if you accelerate in the same direction, you shall gain a considerable speed boost.
