- This game is meant to be played in many runs. You'll spend your money when you're dead.
- The second (classified) upgrade room is unlocked by finding blueprints you find during your runs.
- Don't hold LMB to dig, you can dig several times faster by "long clicking" repeatedly, try adjusting the tempo to rock type/your digger upgrades until it works.
- Keep an eye out on the purple bar, by the time the alarm sounds you should already be entering the spider. If you have automated defense systems they can give you some leeway, but don't count on it.
- Your weapon will aim(turn) slower when firing. This makes a big difference for the gun you start with.
- Big ores with a glowing center are new modules for your spider, scoop them up with your vacuum and haul them back to the spider. (You can always drop them for a sec if you need to scoop any loose ores along the way.)
- Objects produced by upgrades installed on your spider are meant to be carried the same way.
- If you're going quite far up/down without finding any mine entrances, make sure you're ready for a tough fight.
- During enemy attacks pay attention to where your automated systems are firing, they'll usually react to approaching enemies before they show up in your field of view.
- Speaking of bigger field of view: detach the spider from the mine, it'll zoom out even if you don't want to move (which you should once you get some +speed)
- Dashing bypasses enemies along the way, however if you land on enemies, you may get stuck unless you have a certain classified upgrade.
- You can mine during monster waves and fight while in the mine. This is usually a terminally stupid idea, but there are ways.
